Edwards Language School is situated in Ealing, a pleasant area of West London just 20 minutes by underground from Heathrow and central London. Ealing has many parks, excellent shops, leisure facilities, a choice of restaurants and plenty of traditional English pubs! Kew Gardens, Hampton Court Palace, Windsor and Oxford are all within easy reach.
The school benefits from eight spacious and well-equipped classrooms, self-access resources and an attractive lounge area, which together provide an ideal learning environment. The school was set up in 1990 and has quickly gained an excellent reputation locally and internationally: over 70% of its students come to the school through personal recommendation.

In the General English classes students practise all the language skills: reading and writing, speaking and listening, and extend knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. There are also courses to prepare for Cambridge Examinations (Edwards is a Centre for Cambridge Examinations and for LCCI Examinations). The free exam practice sessions held during the weeks before the exams are always well attended.

Edwards also organises tailor-made Courses for Groups and individuals: in recent years groups have come from Italy, Germany, Poland, the Ukraine, Russia and France. The school is proud of its association with the Council of Europe and since 1991 has been running Language Courses in conjunction with the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg.

Learning a language can be fun! At Edwards there is a team of qualified, experienced teachers who use a variety of interesting and challenging techniques in the classroom. They also help to develop students' learning strategies so that they can become more independent learners. The Social Programme is varied with visits to place of interest in and around London. Students can learn about British Culture, and with the very wide range of nationalities students learn a lot about other cultures too
